True Detective was something special the minute we laid eyes on the scripts. And then they added Matthew and Woody and we knew it was something even more. With each season we wanted to highlight the stars (even if we cut their heads off in the season 2) while always exploring their character development and of course the thriller/crime nature of the series. After all - Time is a flat circle.
